This study aims to: (1) Create and design a prototype tool monitoring home security system based on Internet of Things. (2) knowing a valid Internet of Things-based home security system monitoring prototype. (3) knowing the response of homeowners to prototype Internet of Things-based home security system monitoring. The research method used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with a prototype Model. Have several stages, namely: (1) collection needs. (2) Prototyping. (3) Evaluation Of Prototyping. (4) Coding System. (5) System Testing. (6) Evaluation Of The System. (7) Use Of Tools. Data collection used are: interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results showed that (1) Internet of Things-based home security system monitoring prototype, in the form of a miniature made of wooden teriplek where this miniature has 2 windows, namely: upper window and lower window, and 1 door. Each object uses a PIR Sensor, ESP32-CAM, OV2640 Camera and Buzzer. (2) the prototype of this Internet of Things-based home security monitoring system has a very high validity. (3) the response of homeowners to the prototype of Internet of Things-based home security system monitoring, which is very positive so that this tool will add a security system to the doors and windows of the House.
