Abstract

This study aims: (1) To design a decision support system application in choosing a WEB-based smartphone using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods, (2) To find out the implementation of a decision support system in choosing a WEB-based smartphone by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. The method used is the waterfall method, what is meant by the waterfall method is the process of developing or changing a software system using models and methodologies that people used to develop previous software systems. The waterfall model provides a sequential or sequential software lifeflow approach starting from requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and support or maintenance. The data used are primary data through literature studies, observations and interviews. The results showed that: (1) The system was designed using the programming language PHP and MySQL as its database. The method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods, with the Waterfall development method, (2) The criteria most in demand by consumers is the RAM criterion with an average value of 0.2623. As for the SAW calculation, it was found that the smartphone that was recommended the most to consumers in first place was the realmi brand with a total of 4 smartphones. Then, from the Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo brands, 2 smartphones are recommended each.
